About

A struggling Hollywood writer-director is in the throws of getting his film made - a heartfelt comedy based on the trials and tribulations of his autistic son – when his elderly parents need help, forcing him to return to his hometown of Greenport, NY. This one good deed sets off a chain of events that force the filmmaker to question his ambitions and rethink his priorities. Ultimately the filmmaker realizes his unrelenting determination to show the world that an autistic kid can do anything, may actually be the one thing that’s holding him and the film back. When his financing falls through, we see that laughter really is the best medicine.
