Pitch your original series script live to a panel of TV industry experts.

VIEW UPCOMING EVENTS

The Pitch-A-Thon! Roadshow brings SeriesFest’s signature Pitch-A-Thon! to leading film festivals and entertainment events across the country.

Selected creators have five minutes to pitch their original series live to a panel of industry professionals, followed by seven minutes of feedback from the panel.

Pitching Workshop
Before taking the stage, selected Pitch-A-Thon! creators participate in an exclusive virtual workshop led by Working Artist Group. Through expert pitch coaching and personalized feedback, creators refine their story and sharpen their presentation, preparing a compelling five-minute pitch for the live competition.

Pitchers must be present for the online coaching session and the live event to be eligible. The date of the online coaching session will be determined by participant availability. The live event date is listed in the open call.

To attend the Pitch-A-Thon! as a spectator, please see the event details for ticketing information. Because this traveling program is often held as part of trade shows, festivals, and other industry events, access is determined by the host event.

Submit for a chance to be one of 3 projects chosen to participate in this program, which includes an online prep session with Working Artist Group and a live pitch session in-person on October 17, 2026, at Twin Cities Film Fest in Minnesota.

Whether you live in Minnesota, your story is set there, or the state helped shape it, we especially encourage you to submit.

One winner will receive a badge to SeriesFest: Season 13 in Denver, CO, April 23–27, 2027, plus one round-trip domestic flight courtesy of Twin Cities Film Fest.

Hello! My name is Tahara Lopez, a recent Chapman University graduate and Mexican-American aspiring screenwriter. Despite now living in LA, I’m a proud born-and-raised Minnesotan! Growing up, I loved storytelling in all mediums and throughout the years, that love has only gotten stronger, so it only made sense to strive for a career in the film and television industry. While I’m especially passionate about comedic TV writing, I’m completely open to exploring new avenues and bringing in new interests into my life!

Jasia Ka is an Emmy and Telly Award–winning film/commercial director and series creator known for her bold “feminist Rocky” point of view. Her work blends realism and fantasy to create irreverent worlds where outsiders take centerstage. She’s directed Margot Robbie, Brooke Shields, and Riz Ahmed in campaigns for clients like BMW, HOKA, Barbie, and Infiniti. On the narrative side, she’s created and directed the BRIC-TV dramedy Girls Aren’t Funny (Best Comedy Writing, SeriesFest), supernatural dark comedy series Bushwitches, and Mark Duplass-supported Stalling (Best Romantic Comedy – HollyShorts). Jasia has been featured in The New York Times, Deadline, IndieWire, NBC and The Hollywood Reporter. She is represented by Eric Williams at Zero Gravity Management.

Working Artist Group

Working Artist Group (or WAG), was created in 2014 by expert industry insider, Krista Gano, as an umbrella brand that encompasses all elements necessary for a professional career in the entertainment industry. Offering coaching services, and specialized workshops, it is a one-stop shop for the needs of the working artist and a trusted seal among casting directors, producers, directors and agencies. Krista has spent a career working and advising within every aspect of the industry and has a keen understanding of how the business works. In addition to being a dynamic creative herself, she has helmed the SeriesFest Pitch-a-Thon for many years, presenting the program throughout the US and Canada. She is currently working with creators all over the globe, creating a safe place for creatives to focus on the all important pitch.
